Johnny Mac graduated from Castleton State College back in the eighties, receiving a BA in English. 1978 - 1985, began honing his people skills as a waiter for the Sirloin Saloon. From 83-90, working as a real estate broker, Mr. MacHardy attended seminars, workshops, and practiced direct marketing, face to face negotiations. With Contemporary Associates of Killington, he learned to design and construct database programs for mail, and began designing and publishing brochures.

1990 - Present, Jmac managed resort hotels at Killington, in Vermont. Here, he successfully managed the marketing programs, database and networking solutions, customer service programs, and again, attended seminars, workshops, and practiced direct marketing, using and learning new skills. Advertising in periodicals and brochure designs were his key interests.

When the world wide web sprang up in 1994, he was one of the first to incorporate its marketing abilities to grow in a time of downturn for the region. As employee base began to dwindle, and experienced personnel became scarce, the proper use of data management became vital to this industry.

As Johnny Mac's skills developed, so did his professional network. Regional experts and web forums became essential to managing on a shoestring. Thinline Management was born, and though it existed on paper as a DBA, it truly was the seed of co-operation that Seabrain boasts today

Seeking solutions to difficult situations created bonds between many managers and owners of a myriad of companies. Bartering with internet and database skills, he was able to trade for substantial gains that allowed him to continue his education in the coding field.
